Above is a photo of the Coco-Nutty Granola I made for the I Quit Sugar challenge. This is by far my favourite breakfast of the challenge, as it is the quickest and easiest to prepare when I have a 10 month old crawling at my feet demanding attention, and I have to get ready for work!
We are about to enter week five of the challenge, however my husband and I are only at week four. We went away with friends for a week, and although we didn't eat sugar we didn't follow the meal plan. We decided that we would re-do week three once we were home, so that we got the full benefit of the programme.
How am I feeling? pretty good! I have the odd occasion where I feel like a sugar hit but other than that it has been pretty smooth sailing. I still feel tired, but I just discovered that my iron level is sitting at zero, so I can't expect to be feeling too perky at the mo! On another note, the appear of my skin has greatly improved, and I'm snacking less during the day.
Bring on week four!
