Homegrown Peppermint Tea

I love peppermint tea, especially after a big meal, so when I saw a peppermint plant for sale at Mitre 10 I bought one so that I could grown, and brew, my own tea. I planted the peppermint outside the kitchen window, and as like ordinary mint, it is going great guns!

Last night I picked a few leaves off, to brew my very first pot of tea. It was refreshing, but next time I think I may need to use more leaves, as the peppermint flavour was not quite strong enough. I also wonder if perhaps I need to dry the leaves? I may need to look that up...
